HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR PERFUME

Here are two more classic ways to make your perfume last longer:
SCENT & PERFUME LAYERING
The first step to improving the longevity of your fragrance is to layer your scent! Much like you would when it comes to layering your favourite wardrobe items, the same rule applies to your perfume and cologne.
Start by using a matching or complementary-scent shower gel to build on such as the iconic fragrance of our Y Shower Gel. Once you’re out of the shower or bath, follow with a matching body crème or lotion before a spritz or two of your favourite scent.
Fragrance will always last longer on skin that is hydrated so anything you can do prior to fragrance application will greatly improve the longevity of your fragrance. Those will an oiler skin type also benefit from longer fragrance application than those who have a drier skin type.
OPT FOR STRONG PERFUME SCENTS THAT LAST LONGER
Perhaps the most obvious choice for long lasting fragrance is to choose a perfume or cologne with a stronger scent.
To do this, look for a higher percentage of oil or products with Intense or Parfum in their name - like our Libre Eau De Parfum Intense women’s fragrance and L'Homme Le Parfum men's fragrance.
Depending on how you like to wear your fragrance, or the occasion it’s for, the general rule is the stronger the fragrance type, the longer it’s going to last. Use our guides below to shop our icon ranges of Libre, Black Opium, Mon Paris, Y For Men and L'Homme - or shop by scent to uncover the perfume notes that match what you're looking for.
