YSL Beauty Club Terms & Conditions
Introduction
1. The YSL Beauty Club program is offered by L'Oréal Australia Pty Ltd (L'Oréal, we or us).
2. These terms and conditions apply to the YSL Beauty Club program and any promotional activity and member transactions relating to the YSL Beauty Club program. By registering for and participating in YSL Beauty Club, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Your participation and membership
3. You can sign up to YSL Beauty Club online here, in store at a YSL counter, or via other methods which may be specified by L'Oréal from time to time.
4. To become a member of YSL Beauty Club, you will need to provide your full name and email address. In order to be eligible for a YSL Beauty Club Birthday Reward, you must also provide your date and month of birth.
5. You must notify us if your email address changes. L'Oréal is not responsible for any loss of YSL Beauty Club benefits arising from you not notifying us of any change in your email address.
6. You must only have one YSL Beauty Club account at any time.
7. L'Oréal staff are not eligible to join YSL Beauty Club.
8. YSL Beauty Club tier spend, points balance and rewards are not transferrable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be shared with anyone else.
9. If you are under the age of 18, you need the consent of your parent or legal guardian to join.
Member communications and personal data
10. When you join YSL Beauty Club, you agree to receive email communications from L'Oréal for the purposes of:
• providing you with marketing, product and special offer information; and
• notifying you of matters relevant to your YSL Beauty Club membership, including points and rewards expiry.
You can opt out of receiving marketing emails by clicking the ‘unsubscribe' button at the bottom of any YSL email and updating your preferences.
To opt out of communications relating to matters relevant to your YSL Beauty Club membership (including points and rewards expiry), you must log in to your YSL Beauty Club account and untick the button for loyalty communications.
11. By joining YSL Beauty Club you agree to let us collect, use and disclose your data (including personal information) in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these terms and conditions.
Earning My YSL Beauty Club points
12. You can earn YSL Beauty Club points by making a purchase:
• online at yslbeauty.com.au while logged in to your YSL Beauty Club account;
• at a YSL pop-up or boutique store in Australia and identifying yourself as a YSL Beauty Club member; or
• at a YSL counter in participating department stores in Australia (including but not limited to Chadstone Shopping Centre, David Jones and Myer) and identifying yourself as a YSL Beauty Club member to a dedicated YSL Customer Service Representative. You will not be eligible to earn points or tier spend if you make a purchase at a participating department store with a standard department store representative (i.e. a staff member who is not a dedicated YSL Customer Service Representative) or on the department store's website.
13. If you make a purchase in accordance with clause 12 above, for each dollar you spend (excluding shipping costs) you’ll earn one YSL Beauty Club point (rounded down to the nearest dollar). This is calculated on your actual spend after any discounts, gift vouchers or YSL Beauty Club vouchers. For example:
• If you purchase a product which is $100 and receive a 15% discount on the purchase (total spend $85), you will receive 85 YSL Beauty Club points.
• If you purchase a product which is $150 and use a $50 gift voucher on the purchase (total spend $100), you will receive 100 YSL Beauty Club points.
• If you purchase a product which is $100 and use a $20 YSL Beauty Club voucher on the purchase (total spend $80), you will receive 80 YSL Beauty Club points.
14. For online purchases, points will be credited to your YSL Beauty Club account once your order ships. For in-store purchases, points may take up to 24 hours to be credited to your YSL Beauty Club account.
15. We may deduct from your YSL Beauty Club account, in our sole discretion, any YSL Beauty Club points:
• credited to your account as a result of an error;
• relating to a transaction that has been cancelled, reversed or refunded;
• relating to any suspected fraudulent activity; or
• relating to an order that L'Oréal reasonably believes was for a commercial purpose or commercial in quantity.
16. At its sole discretion, L'Oréal may update a member account with additional YSL Beauty Club points as a result of a purchasing behaviour, incentive and/or promotional activities.
17. Your YSL Beauty Club point balance and any vouchers you redeem through YSL Beauty Club are not transferable to anyone else, or redeemable for cash.
Using YSL Beauty Club points
YSL Beauty Club Voucher
18. Points can be redeemed for a YSL Beauty Club voucher redeemable in participating YSL Beauty stores or online at yslbeauty.com.au, as set out in the table below. Only one YSL Beauty Club voucher can be used per transaction.

19. When you convert your YSL Beauty Club points into a YSL Beauty Club voucher, you will have 30 days from the date of conversion to use your YSL Beauty Club voucher. We will notify you using the email address linked to your YSL Beauty Club account before any of your active vouchers are due to expire, if you have not opted out of receiving loyalty communications. If you return or cancel an order in which you redeemed a YSL Beauty Club voucher, the voucher will be reissued to your account with its original expiry date.
20. Each YSL Beauty Club voucher can only be used once and L'Oréal will not be held liable if a YSL Beauty Club voucher is not able to be redeemed for any reason (unless the reason for the voucher not being redeemed has directly been caused by L'Oréal and in which case L'Oréal will consider the circumstances and make a reasonable determination regarding the voucher). When using a YSL Beauty Club voucher, you must spend at least $1. L'Oréal reserves the right to exclude certain items and promotions from being redeemed by using YSL Beauty Club vouchers. Such exclusions will be specified at the point of purchase.
21. YSL Beauty Club Points will expire 12 months after they are earned. This means that if you make multiple purchases in one year, you will have points expiring on multiple dates the following year. For example:
- If you spend $50 on 1 February of the first year, you will earn 50 points. These points will expire at the end of 31 January of the second year.
- If you spend $100 on 1 June of the first year, you will earn 100 points. These points will expire at the end of 31 May of the second year.
22. We will notify you using the email address linked to your YSL Beauty Club account approximately one month before any of your points are due to expire, if you have not opted out of receiving loyalty communications.
Rewards Catalogue
23. Points may also be redeemed for YSL accessories, gifts and/or other products via the YSL Rewards Catalogue at yslbeauty.com.au.
24. To redeem a product, you must log-in to your existing YSL Beauty Club account and visit the menu on your account page and click on the Rewards Catalogue. YSL Beauty Club points are automatically converted to a dollar value and will be shown on your YSL Rewards Catalogue dashboard. The Rewards Catalogue page will contain list of product/s you can redeem using your YSL Beauty Club points (in dollars).
25. You may redeem products from the YSL Rewards Catalogue page without also making a purchase, however, you will have to pay the shipping cost. YSL Rewards Catalogue redemptions may be combined with purchased items, however, complimentary standard shipping (for purchases AU$75 and over) is only applicable to the total value of the product(s) purchased and will not include the value of the products redeemed using the points or voucher. All orders made through the Rewards Catalogue cart are shipped and pick-up option will not be available.
26. All order(s) via the YSL Rewards Catalogue are final (subject to the applicable consumer law guarantees). Returns or exchanges for change of mind will not be permitted. Customers should consider their orders carefully before proceeding. No refund(s) of any kind will be issued for any product that is returned due to change of mind (including any monetary refund or any YSL Beauty Club points re-issue to the customer’s account). This clause does not affect your rights under consumer law. If a product is faulty, not as described, or does not meet consumer guarantees under applicable laws, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair as required by law.
YSL Beauty Club membership tiers
27. You can accumulate YSL Beauty Club tier spend by making a purchase:
• online at yslbeauty.com.au while logged in to your YSL Beauty Club account;
• at a YSL pop-up or boutique store in Australia and identifying yourself as a YSL Beauty Club member; or
• at a YSL counter in participating department stores in Australia (including but not limited to Chadstone Shopping Centre, David Jones and Myer) and identifying yourself as a YSL Beauty Club member to a dedicated YSL Customer Service Representative. 29. As a YSL Beauty Club member, you will be allocated to a membership tier on the basis of your spend with YSL in a membership year.
30. The current spending thresholds for each membership tier are:
• For Silver membership: spend $0-$249.99 per membership year.
• For Gold membership: spend $250-$599.99 per membership year.
• For Black membership: spend $600+ per membership year.
31. Your YSL Beauty Club membership year starts from (i) the date you joined YSL Beauty Club or (ii) the date you last changed or maintained tiers (whichever date is later) and runs for 12 months.
32. At the end of each membership year, your membership tier will be determined by your spend with YSL in that membership year and your spend balance will be reset to $0. You will then remain in that membership tier until the end of your next membership year, unless your rolling 12 month spend qualifies you to move to a higher tier.
33.At its sole discretion, L’Oréal may upgrade a member’s membership tier as a result of purchasing behaviour, incentive and/or promotional activities.
34. We may deduct from your YSL Beauty Club spend balance, in our sole discretion, any amounts:
• credited to your account as a result of an error;
• relating to a transaction that has been cancelled, reversed or refunded;
• relating to any suspected fraudulent activity; or
• relating to an order that L'Oréal reasonably believes was for a commercial purpose or commercial in quantity.
35. The benefits that members of each tier are eligible to receive are set out in the table below. These benefits may change, but if we reduce the benefits that apply to the tier you are in, we will let you know by sending an email to the email address linked to your YSL Beauty Club account, if you have not opted out of loyalty communications.

36. Members will be able to access their YSL voucher catalogue at any time by logging into their YSL Beauty Club online account. All other tier rewards will be available at set periods of time throughout the year. We will notify when these rewards are available to you if you have not opted out of loyalty communications, including further information on additional terms and conditions that may apply to rewards and how to redeem.
My YSL Beauty Club Rewards
37. Members who are eligible for a Silver, Gold or Black Birthday Reward will receive their Birthday Reward via email (if they have not opted out of loyalty communications) approximately 7 days prior to their birthday, or at such other time as L’Oréal considers appropriate. Birthday Rewards may change from time to time at L’Oréal’s discretion.
38. Your YSL Beauty Club Birthday Reward is redeemable online or within any YSL boutique store only and must be used within 30 days of the date of issuance. You must be logged in to your YSL Beauty Club account to redeem your Birthday Reward (for online redemption) or present details of your YSL Beauty Club membership (and the Birthday Reward email) to staff at any YSL boutique store for redemption. Rewards that are not redeemed within 30 days of issuance will be rendered null and void.
General
39. Your YSL Beauty Club membership may be terminated or suspended if we reasonably suspect that you have:
• breached these terms and conditions;
• engaged in or may engage in fraudulent conduct, or conduct that is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent, in relation to your YSL Beauty Club account; or
• engaged in inappropriate conduct that undermines the legitimate interests of L'Oréal.
40. You may terminate your YSL Beauty Club membership at any time by contacting YSL customer service.
41. If your YSL Beauty Club membership is terminated (by you or us), all outstanding points, tier status and benefits and any YSL Beauty Club vouchers you have redeemed will no longer be valid and will be rendered null and void.
42. We may cancel or suspend the YSL Beauty Club program or change these terms and conditions at any time. If we do, we may or may not notify you, depending on the change we make. An up-to-date copy of our terms can be found here.
43. Where L'Oréal gives you notice by email, you agree that the notice is deemed to have been provided to you on the date of the email.
44. These terms and conditions do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under law.
45. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
My YSL Sign Up Offers
46. 10% off first transaction offer: Offer available to new YSL Beauty Club Members only. Receive 10% off your first purchase when you sign up to YSL Beauty Club. After completing the first purchase, customer will also receive a $10 voucher for their second purchase (subject to a minimum spend of $100). Voucher will be sent to the customer via email within one (1) month of their first purchase and must be redeemed within one (1) month of the email receipt. Customer will receive the applicable promotional voucher in their YSL Beauty Club Rewards Dashboard which they may apply at checkout. Voucher(s) will appear at checkout under ‘My Vouchers’ above cart items. Customer must be signed into their account to redeem the offer(s). Available at yslbeauty.com.au or any participating YSL counter or boutique store within Australia. For in-store redemption, you must provide your membership details to the staff. Offer may not be used in conjunction with other offers, except for gift with purchase offers. L'Oreal reserves the right to end the offer at any time.
47. 10% of your first transaction when you upgrade tiers (to Gold/Black tier): Receive 10% off your first purchase with your new My YSL Beauty Club upgraded tier status. 10% off will only apply to a change to a new upgraded tier and will only be available for the one upgrade of tier in the same year. The 10% discount voucher will be added to the customer’s YSL Beauty Club account. Customer must be signed into their account to redeem offer. Available at yslbeauty.com.au or any participating YSL counter or boutique store within Australia. For in-store redemption, you must provide your membership details to the staff. Offer may not be used in conjunction with other offers, except for gift with purchase offers. L'Oreal reserves the right to end the offer at any time.
