Foundation
1. Prepare your skin: Start with your skincare to create a clean and hydrated base. Allow the skincare to absorb fully before moving to the next step.
2. Prime (optional): If you prefer to use a makeup primer, apply it after moisturising your skin. Primers create a smooth base for foundation application and help extend its longevity.
3. Apply the foundation: Shake the foundation bottle well before use. Dispense a small amount of foundation onto the back of your hand or a makeup palette. You can use your fingers, a foundation brush, or a makeup sponge to apply the foundation.
- Fingers: Dab small amounts of foundation onto your forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose. Gently blend the foundation using your fingertips in circular motions, spreading it evenly over your face. Pay attention to areas that require more coverage.
- Foundation brush: Use a synthetic foundation brush with densely packed bristles. Apply small dots of foundation on your face and blend it out in sweeping motions, starting from the centre of your face and moving outward.
- Makeup sponge: Wet the sponge slightly and squeeze out any excess water. Dab the sponge into the foundation and bounce it gently onto your skin. Blend the foundation using a stippling motion, ensuring even coverage.
Note: Start with a thin layer and gradually add more where needed. If you desire more coverage, you can layer the foundation.
4. Set the foundation (optional): If you want to increase the longevity of your foundation or control shine, you can set it with a face powder or a setting spray of your choice.
