Which products can I engrave?


YSL Beauty Australia is pleased to offer engraving on select products. This service is exclusive to YSLBeauty.com.au and available on selected Rouge Pur Couture, Rouge Volupte Shine and Vernis A Levres lipsticks, Touche Éclat Highlighter pen, selected 50ml or 90ml Black Opium, Opium and Mon Paris womens fragrances, selected 60ml or 100ml L'Homme and La Nuit De L'Homme mens fragrances and selected 125ml Les Vestiaire Des Parfums fragrances - purchased on YSLBeauty.com.au.


How much is it to engrave a product?


Engraving is currently a complimentary service on selected products. There is no additional cost at this time.


May I return or exchange an engraved product?


The beauty of engraving is that once an item is personalised it is created and marked especially for you! This means that we are unable to accept exchanges or refunds if you change your mind about your purchase or engraving message. Engraved products cannot be returned or exchanged unless due to product defect.


My engraving item is faulty, can I get a replacement?


The entire engraving process is completed by laser machine which means each product is specifically programmed to achieve the end finish designed for the selected product. In saying this, if you believe the actual product you have had engraved is faulty, please contact our Customer Care team at lorealCAD@loreal.com.


How long does it take to engrave my product?


Please allow an additional 3-4 business days to engrave a product on top of the standard 1-2 business days to process the order. Please note that delivery times may be longer during peak periods.


Can I choose my engraving style and placement?


At this time, we do not offer the option to select a desired font or placement. Our online engraving service is carried out by a laser machine, which is distinctively different to any in store service. Our engraving experts have pre-determined the ideal font and placement for the best results for each product and material type.

How many characters can I have engraved?


A character limit of 3 applies for all "monogram" engraving messages and 14 for all "regular" engraving messages unless otherwise stated on the preview page. For selected makeup products there is the option to add a lips, star, heart or love "symbol" to your engraving message as indicated on the preview page, however this will limit the number of text characters you can add to your message to ensure the best finish for each product case shape and size. Character selection is limited to English letters A-Z, numbers 0-9 and symbols '.-_!@:# for all engraving messages.


How can I choose my engraving product?


You can select the option to add engraving to your product by checking the Complimentary Engraving box right below the Add to Bag button on the product page. After checking the box, you will have the ability to customise your message after clicking the "Engrave It" button.


Why can't everything on yslbeauty.com.au be engraved?


Our range of engraving products have been carefully selected to ensure our personalisation service offers premium quality and finish. Some materials are not designed to withstand the process involved in laser machine engraving. Our team is constantly working to offer engraving on a wider range of our products.
