  • Created in 1993 and inspired by champagne, Yvresse is a party fragrance for women who sparkle.

With Yvresse, perfume becomes subversive and chypre turns festive; life is enjoyed the way you enjoy champagne, with finesse and intensity.

The top note, composed of nectarine and litchi/lychee, creates an exacerbated sparkling and fruity sensation. At the heart, the absolute femininity of a rose harmony, which invites violet blossom to the party. The base is unveiled inside assumed sensuality that nothing can hold back. Patchouli helps to retain the sophistication and elegance from which the Yves Saint Laurent woman never strays.

Yvresse EDT is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 214.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful scent I have been buying this product for many many years( back when it was called champagne). I wear It nearly every day and have been asked countless times what perfume I'm wearing. As a migraine sufferer I'm overjoyed to have found a perfume that doesn't instantly cause a headache. The only downfall of the product is the new packaging introduced a few years back. The square bottle is awkward in the hand and not very easily transported in my handbag. The old rounder bottle was much easier to use and carry around. And in my mind felt lighter. I will continue to use the product but would hope that the powers that be listen to feed back re the bottle as I know I'm not the only one that doesn't like it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful scent I love this perfume but agree with all the others re the horrible bottle. Bring back the old bottle & make the scent exactly the same. I used to have so many people ask me what I was wearing Young & Old. . I also smelt the original on someone else & asked them what they were wearing and thats how I started wearing it. I have kept a little minature bottle of parfum (champagne) but dont open it. Also kept my old bottles of champagne. Plse pass on to YSL to put it all back to how it was PLEEEESE.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Yvresse. Bring back "Champage" recipe So many comments during my time as a Champagne and later, barrel shaped bottle Yvresse wearing. So many memories as commented by children's friends, my friends, my work colleagues and my patients. Is there ever a reason to fix something if it isn't broken and can we devotees expect a return of the original, exquisite and beautifully memorable scent? The new Yvresse comes up very short and I now choose Miss Dior as my favourite perfume.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My old friend! I have been wearing this scent since the early 90's when it was sold under the original name "Champagne." Why, oh, why did they change the name and formula? Champagne was 10 out of 5 stars for me and a daily wear that I was devoted to. Yvresse (how the heck is that pronounced anyway?) is like a litter sister to Champagne, less depth and less sophisticated, but still very similar to the original. I wear it a lot, but I will always remember the real deal. Please bring it back (and the clever name & bottle too!)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NOTHING LIKE ORIGINAL i have used this for years since it was called champagne, then yvress, this new formulation has no staying power, why on earth do perfume makers have to ruin and change the original formulation if it is not broken people dont try fix it, and i hate the new bottle bring back the old bottle was much nicer

Rated 3 out of 5 by from original was the best This iteration is okay, but other reviewers are correct in that the original formulation in both Champagne/Yveresse were utterly exquisite! Compliments all of the time from both males and females. It just made you want to nuzzle, it was like a really big hug. I cannot understand YSL's hesitation for not reissuing it. Or when someone has a general outstanding and unique winner what possesses them to change the formula.?? Please bring it back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Different Formula The formula has changed and is nothing like the beautiful original formula. My wife has been wearing this scent exclusively for more than 20 years and it is VERT disappointing for both of us to receive the latest bottle as it is nothing like the scent it should be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yvresse/champagne I agree with all the other comments. This has been my signature perfume since the nineties also, someone always asked what I was wearing! I understand that you had to change bottle/ name, but ...Please bring back the original fragrance in a prettier bottle. The new bottle is awful. Such a shame it had to change!
