Le Vestiaire Des Parfums – Caban
Designed to brave sea, cold and rain, the caban – French term for the pea coat - provides sailors with a protective cocoon of thick raw wool. Preserving its wide cut and authentic texture, Monsieur Saint Laurent adorned the coat with buttons of carved gold for a jewel-like radiance. What was created was a garment of timeless style and endless comfort.
Caban reveals its refinement in an architectural bottle of sheer, square-cut glass. The ornamental jewel cap mirrors the “grain de poudre” texture of Monsieur Saint Laurent’s beloved tuxedo fabric.
